A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE 'FISH' DISH
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The dish is decorated in the interior with a carp leaping from roiling waves amidst flames, clouds and a flaming pearl, all beneath the everted rim decorated with beribonned auspicious emblems and peony sprays.
17 7/8 in. (45 cm.) diam.
