QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The dish has rounded sides that flare at the rim, and is decorated on the interior with a medallion of an iron-red dragon writhing against a background of cresting waves, and on the exterior with a similar frieze of dragons below a band of demi-florets at the rim.
6 7/8 in. (17.6 cm.) diam.
