LATE MING-EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH-18TH CENTURY
The brush pot is carved in high relief depicting two ladies bidding farewell to a scholar on horseback, accompanied by his attendant, on one side; the other side with cliff faces. The interior and mouth rim are coated with brown lacquer.
