A PAIR OF GILT-BRONZE SEATED FIGURES OF AMITAYUS
18TH CENTURY
Each figure is seated in dhyanasana on a rectangular plinth draped in front with a long cloth with a flower head at its centre, and with the hands in dhyanamudra, in front of a separately-cast flaming mandorla. The interior of one plinth is incised with the Chinese number 639 and the other with 890.
