A HONGMU 'DRAGON' FOUR-PANEL SCREEN
19TH CENTURY
Each main panel is carved with two dragons chasing the flaming pearl, one emerging from the clouds and the other from the waves. The upper and lower panels are carved with shou roundels and bats with chimes.
Each panel, 73 ¼ in. high x 16 1/8 in. wide (186 x 41 cm.)
