Second edition of one of Nicolaus de Lyra's major exegetical works. Other books bound by the same Landshut bindery were also owned by the Raitenhaslach Cistercians (for example, BSB-Ink D-309). Royal 2° (405 x 280mm). With first and final blank leaf, unrubricated (small wormholes effecting some letters). Contemporary Landshut blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards [Kyriss 165] (small wormholes, scuffed, some old repairs). Provenance: Raitenhaslach, Cistercian abbey (inscription).
