Lot Essay

Reference 5153G was first introduced in white gold in 2009 and features a black guilloche dial with applied white gold dagger markers. The presently offered example is exceptionally rare for featuring a Tiffany & Co. retail signature on the engine-turned dial, a combination never before seen on this particular dial, and never before seen at auction. Only three examples of this reference were given a Tiffany & Co. signature. Furthermore, to the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

The four-piece case of this reference features a hinged caseback that opens to reveal the caliber 324 SC.
