First edition, limited issue, number 2 of 25 copies signed by the artist on the limitation page and in margin of all lithographs. Among Struck’s students were Marc Chagall, Max Liebermann and Lovis Corinth.

Folio (480 x 320 mm). Title and 50 signed lithographs on velin d'arches, window mounted. Publisher’s half cloth portfolio (flaps detached, wear to edges).

Published by the German high command while the German army occupied Poland and Lithuania in the first world war, Struck documents life in central and eastern Europe and offers an intimate view of Jewish life in that region. After the war he moved from Berlin to Haifa. Thieme-Becker XXXII, 211.
