Lot Essay

Acclaimed reference of the Rolex Daytona collection, the present timepiece is offered in excellent overall condition. Adding to the collectible appeal of the chronograph, the wristwatch was manufactured with a beautiful white dial with sought after "inverted six".

Appearing on dials of the reference 16520 as late as 1995, the "inverted six" defect occurs when the chronograph hour register features a "6" inverted and appearing as a "9".
