Tasting note: Deep nose of banana leaves, some volatile, sweet dried fruits expression in an attractive pure nose. Touch of fudge, waxy, all in elegant subdued modus. Pure and intensified from long cask aging. A great multi layered nose. Intense taste immediately filling your tongue with tropical fruit aromas, like peaches and fresh bananas, fine lingering acidity in the making the taste quite striking and well balanced. Refined fresh finish of depth and character. The amazing aftertaste is to die for. What a wine, love this. January 2017. EV.
