A PAIR OF SMALL GILT-BRONZE BUDDHAS
17TH-18TH CENTURY
Both figures are cast seated in dhyanasana on double-lotus pedestals, one with his right hand reaching down in bhumisparsa mudra and the other with both hands raised in dharmachakra mudra. The bases of both figures are sealed and incised with a double vajra and central yin-yang motif.
