FIVE DYNASTIES (907-960)
The Xing bowl is potted with a short foot rising to a five-lobed rim, covered inside and out with a clear glaze stopping just above the foot, the base unglazed; the Yaozhou bowl is potted with flaring lobed sides rising from a thick foot to a foliate rim, covered overall with a yellowish-olive toned glaze.
