A MOULDED LONGQUAN CELADON ‘LOTUS PETAL’ BOWL
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The rounded sides are lightly moulded on the exterior with a band of upturned lotus petals, covered overall in a glaze of sea-green tone which ends irregularly above the unglazed foot. The centre of the base is glazed.
