3 volumes, 2° (408 x 260mm). Half-titles to each volume, engraved frontispiece in vol. I, titles in red and black with engraved arms of Pope Benedict XIII, 430 engraved illustrations, engraved head- and tailpieces, text in parallel Greek and Latin. (Some faint spotting throughout, a few short marginal tears, occasional light finger-soiling.) Contemporary vellum (small wormholes at spines, a couple of joints just starting, occasionally lightly rubbed and stained). Provenance: armorial bookplate.
