2° (365 x 225mm). Engraved additional title by Pierre Miotte, engraved portrait of Johann Friedrich, Graf von Waldstein, by H. Bary, large folding engraved 'Horoscopium Catholicum Societ. Jesu' (tear repaired), engraved plate of constellations, 2 engraved tables, engravings and woodcuts in the text. (Additional title with small hole affecting the head of the anthropomorphic sun with old paper repair to verso, very small marginal tear to fold of 'Horoscopium' plate, variable browning throughout, heavily affecting gatherings 2D-2R, 3V-3Z, leaves 4N2-3 bound in reverse order.) Contemporary speckled calf (worn and wormed, head and tail of spine defective, later endpapers).
