A RARE FAMILLE ROSE AND UNDERGLAZE BLUE-DECORATED SCROLL-FORM BRUSH REST
JIAQING FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The top of the brush rest is decorated with a panel enclosing a scene of two scholars in a fenced garden, all surrounded by a gilt border and an underglaze blue diaper ground to each side. The underside is enamelled turquoise.
