A WHITE JADE 'CHILONG' SCABBARD SLIDE
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-220 AD)
The scabbard slide is well-carved to the top in high relief with a large sinuous chilong, accompanied by a young dragon, which is clambering at one end. Both dragons are detailed with bulging eyes, fine incisions to the body and a bifurcated tail.
