Lot Essay

While Rolex Day-Dates with stone dials are rare in their own right, those with green bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, are rarely seen in the market. This particular example is even more unusual due to it having the bark finish bezel and bracelet centre links, and is presented in very attractive condition, with its full case and lugs exhibiting clear hallmarks and handsome tarnishing, proving how sparingly the vendor has worn the piece during their ownership.
