A WHITE JADE FACETTED BALUSTER VASE AND COVER
LATE QING DYNASTY-EARLY REPUBLIC PERIOD
Of rectangular section, the vase has plain sides and two ruyi-shaped loop handles, each incised on the top with a Shou medallion and suspending a loose ring, and the cover has a stepped finial. The pale greenish-white stone has some natural cloudy inclusions and is softly polished.
