Lot Essay

Le Tigre qui marche tourne légèrement sa tête vers la droite et est le pendant du Lion qui Marche qui regarde quant à lui vers la gauche. Soixante épreuves auraient été tirées du vivant de Barye. La fonderie Barbedienne, avec d'abord Ferdinand Barbedienne puis son neveu Gustave Leblanc-Barbedienne, édite ce modèle de 1875 à 1940 en grandeur originale et réduction.
