Lot Essay

While tropical dials are most closely associated with vintage Rolex sports watches, they are also found on some other vintage sports watches, including this spectacular Autavia GMT reference 1163. Preserved in spectacular condition, it is an eye-catching watch for the many beautiful colors presented against the rich brown background of the dial. It is a watch worthy of a collection of important vintage sports watches.
