The engraved silver-gilt box centering upon a laque burgauté panel decorated with a Chinese garden pond scene in dyed mother-of-pearl on black lacquer ground, with gem-set accents, the pushpiece and corners of box with lapis lazuli details, opening to reveal a single wood-lined compartment, with ebony legs, circa 1930, 6 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/8 ins., with French assay marks for 18k gold
