A porcelain two-handled slender oviform vase
probably French, enriched in two-tone gilt with combatants on horse back, the reverse standing, on a claret-ground, between richly gilt sections painted with flowers and stiff-leaf bands, the handles formed as winged horses, on a square section marbled base -- 40.5cm. high, early 19th century (restored to lower section, some wear)
