Lot Essay

Roger Fare was a noted glove maker whose work is represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, among other institutions. He won the Neiman Marcus Award in 1952. Denise Francelle opened her shop on the rue de Rivoli in 1938. It has served the fashion industry and dedicated customers for over 80 years.
