of tapering circular form, on a moulded foot and with a scroll handle and domed hinged cover with scroll thumb piece, the underside scratch-engraved with initials, the front engraved with a monogram within an elaborate scrolling foliate and strapwork cartouche, Samuel Wastell, London 1712 - 7in.
