This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné de l’Oeuvre Peint de Victor Vasarely, which is currently being compiled by the Fondation Vasarely, Aix-en-Provence.

‘Curiously, the hexagon didn’t take long to become a cube, but a perspective, unstable cube […]. In actual fact, it can be split into three identical rhomboids. It is sufficient to color these identical rhomboids and the cube is born, multiplies and creates a new cellular plot.
