Using research and highly advanced materials in order to attain optimal timekeeping performances, the present Richard Mille RM004 chronograph uses a split seconds mechanism allied with a torque and function indicator. Tackling the drawbacks of traditional chronographs, the RM004 uses a mechanism virtually eliminating the initial jump of the chronograph hand, resulting in extreme timing accuracy. Built with a torque indicator, the hand will indicate the amount of torsion required in order to ideally wind the chronograph and prevent wear to the mechanism. Through the ‘WHN’ script on the dial the indicator will show whether the watch is in Winding, Handsetting or in Neutral mode. Sold in 2008 and service by Richard Mille Hong Kong in 2015, this example in striking 18k pink gold is presented in original and honest condition and will make for a fantastic addition to the collection of an avid Richard Mille enthusiast.
