CALON-SEGUR
With its name derived from the “calones”, Château Calon Ségur’s history could date back to the Gallo-Roman era. It is also one of the rarest examples of consistency over terroir after the 1855 classification. Known for its heart shaped label, it is designed in the memory of Nicolas-Alexandre, Marquis de Ségur. The Marquis once said that "I make wine at Lafitte and Latour but my heart is at Calon Ségur." Hence Calon was later on known as Calon Ségur. Calon Ségur is known for its authentic wines with lovely softness and amazing intensity.
