The rotating clock face, of manual movement, with an oval mother-of-pearl dial and rose-cut diamond hands, to the black enamel chapter ring with coral numerals, rose-cut diamond dots, within a black enamel and carved jade surround of two opposing chimeras, enhanced by coral, sapphire and emerald detail, joined to a black lacquer base, with carved jade and coral detail, circa 1920, 4 7/8 x 4 3/4 x 1 7/8 ins., with French assay mark for 18k gold, in a Cartier red leather fitted case also with no. 2302
