A Davenport pearlware ornithological dessert tureen and cover
the cover painted with SUMMER-RED-BIRD-OF-COROLINE and GOLD-FINCH, the body with YELLOW-WREN-OF-JAMAICA and S:AMERICAN-GUIRA-GUACUBERABA, titled in iron red, within black-line rims, with barley-twist handles, scroll finial and fixed oval stand -- 17cm. high, circa 1800-10 (minor crack to cover and slight wear)
