IRAN, CIRCA 1860-80
Of rectangular form, the cobalt-blue ground decorated with the scene of Khusraw riding with an attendant and discovering Shirin bathing, around them a stylised landscape with buildings, a white border decorated with meandering vine with perching birds, minor chips to the lower edge, otherwise intact
