the former of cylindrical form and on a spreading foot, the body engraved with initials and a crest with motto within garter cartouche, maker's initials J.M., Edinburgh 1817 - 3½in. (8.75cm.), the latter of reeded vase shape with chased floral and foliate decoration surrounding a vacant C-scroll cartouche, London 1822. (2)
