Artist's Resale Right ("Droit de Suite"). Artist's Resale Right Regulations 2006 apply to this lot, the buyer agrees to pay us an amount equal to the resale royalty provided for in those Regulations, and we undertake to the buyer to pay such amount to the artist's collection agent. “Le donne non possono ricamare giorno e notte, devono anche dormire e occuparsi dei loro figli. Per fare arrivare loro gli arazzi da ricamare, le condizioni di trasporto sono spesso difficili e complicate: una strada sconnessa, una impraticabile, aspettare lo sciogliersi della neve o auto fuori uso. Tanti fattori che possono ritardare l’inizio del lavoro. Quando manca la corrente, le donne non possono ricamare dopo il tramonto...”

“Women cannot embroider day and night, they also have to rest and take care of their childrens. Also, the transport conditions to get the works there were often very rough: bumpy roads, dead ends, waiting for snow to melt, damaged car. Anything can delay the beginning of the work and women cannot embroider after sunset...”
