Lot Essay

The reference 2446C was launched in 1968. The “C” designation stands for compression case, which all had snap on case backs. They were designed to improve the water-resistance and featured a larger case than its predecessors. The lugs are distinctive and thick, with bevels that are sensitive to any form of polishing.

Consigned by its original owner, the present example features a Tachymeter “tooth” bezel and is in exceptionally well-preseved overall condition.
