The Uni-Compax is doubtlessly among Universal’s rarest, most aesthetically momentous and sought-after vintage chronographs. It is also known as the “Big Eye”, the designation derived from the larger 30 minutes register subsidiary dial.
In production only between 1963 and 1966, it was made in an exceedingly small series only, powered by the legendary Valjoux 23 movement, marked as the Universal Geneva caliber 125.
The present example is a very well preserved example of the rare model, furthermore sold with a period presentation box.
