Tasting note: October 2017 at the Domaine from half bottle. This is showing more maturity compared to the 1999. Balsamic tones, concentrated red cherries, liquorices, spices and some volatile.
Fresh intense start of taste, maturing acidity, warmer sun ripened fruit. Quite spicy. Completely different from the 99. Citrus acidity and cherry confit. Very precise on the final. Very very good 1996. E.V.
