Details
Comte Georges de Vogüé, Musigny Vieilles Vignes 2009
Grand Cru, Côte de Nuits
Tasting note: October 2017 at the Domaine from half bottle.
Very warm season at end of maturity. Though not as hot as in 2003.
Spicy intense, rich tone. Deep red fruits, reserved but well defined. Some minerals behind the fine fruit. Soft fresh fruit texture, lovely purity and freshness. The natural acidity gives a yoghurt like creaminess. Elegance and velvety at first. Really beautifully balanced. Lots going on here. Creamy richness of taste. Great wine, so young. Sunshine vintage. E.V.
