Of traditional form, with raised prow, the front centring an oval reserve, en plein enamelled with an Old Russian prince and princess, surrounded by boyars and a gusli player, cloisonné enamelled overall with stylised foliage and geometric motifs within ropework borders and silver-gilt beads, the upright shaped handle similarly enamelled and decorated with green foil, on a spreading circular foot, marked under base
7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) high
