TWO PORCELAIN CUPS AND SAUCERS
BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, PERIODS OF NICHOLAS I AND ALEXANDER III
One cup and saucer decorated with white enamel fluted reeds, within gilt acanthus borders, saucer marked with blue overglaze factory mark of Nicholas I under base; the other cup and saucer decorated with floral motifs on blue background, centring a cypher of Alexander II, both marked under bases with green underglaze factory mark of Alexander III
The cups, 3½ in. (9 cm.) high and smaller
