CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, MARQUES A SIX CARACTERES EN ROUGE DE FER ET EPOQUE GUANGXU (1875-1908)
Reposant sur un petit pied droit souligné d'une frise de vagues, l'extérieur des bols est orné de quatre caractères wan shou wu jiang ('longévité éternelle') à l'intérieur de cartouches, alternant avec des nuages multicolores sur fond jaune. En son centre, l'intérieur est décoré de cinq chauves-souris, wufu, encerclant le caractère shou stylisé. Les coupes reprennent un décor similaire à l'intérieur, le pourtour est agrémenté de rinceaux de lotus ; quelques restaurations.
Diamètres: 14 cm. (5 ½ in.) et 17,5 cm. (6 7/8 in.)

Previously in the Collection of Constance Coolidge Crowninshield (1892-1973), wife of the American diplomat Ray Atherton (1883-1960) who worked as the secretary of legation in Beijing during 1917 and 1923, thence by descent to the current owner.
