CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG-JIAQING (1736-1820)
Reposant sur quatre petits pieds, chaque panse lobée est délicatement ornée de chauve-souris volant au-dessus d'un caractère shou stylisé au centre d'une fleur de lotus épanouie. La bordure supérieure en forme de fleur est à décor de rinceaux de lotus.

Compare this present pair of jardinières to a Qianlong pink-ground famille rose lobed jardiniere and stand, with almost identical shape and design, in the Nanjing Museum Collection, illustrated in Treasures in the Royalty.
