Elle repose sur une base en bois incrustée de lotus en cuivre doré. Des dragons s'enroulent autour des huit colonnes principales émaillées qui soutiennent trois niveaux de toits étagés. Les extrémités des toits sont ornées de chimères en os teinté vert et soutiennent des clochettes en métal doré. Les frontons triangulaires des toits sont incrustés de petites plaques en stéatite sculptée. Les côtés du sanctuaire de la pagode sont ornés de plaques en jade sculptées de symboles bouddhistes ajourés.

For a similar example, see Christie's Hong Kong, 11 May 2015, lot 14. The three upper terminals of the cross correspond to a design known as the cross botonée, used in Western heraldry as well as religious art – where the three lobes are said to represent the Trinity.
