UNIDENTIFIED MAKER'S MARK P M B, WITH CROWN ABOVE, PROBABLY HANAU, CIRCA 1850/1860, WITH MARKS RESEMBLING THOSE OF PARIS FOR 1782
oval box, the cover, sides and base set with panels enamelled with grisaille miniatures depicting bacchanalian and classical scenes on a geometric-patterned pink ground, within translucent dark-blue enamel frame and chased foliate gold borders
