AN INSIDE-PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
SIGNED YE ZHONGSAN, DATED XINCHOU (1901)
One side is decorated with the knight 'Curly Whiskers' with his donkey and with Li Jing and the courtesan Hongfu nu in a winter landscape, below the artist's inscription and date. The reverse is painted with three scholars seated at a stone table having tea beneath a pine tree.
