This bowl is thickly potted in a rounded shape and raised on a flat, circular foot. One side incised in running script with a poetic inscription, and is covered inside and out with a glaze of ivory tone.
5 in. (12.7 cm.) diam.

The poetic inscription, entitled "Cloud", can be loosely translated as "snap one's fingers at social living, and wear a contented expression for six springs".
