A COPPER-RED-DECORATED FANGHU-FORM VASE.
18TH CENTURY
The vase is decorated in copper-red on the sides with various flower branches between two ruyi-head bands. The neck is decorated with a frieze of scrolling chrysanthemum below a band of plantain leaves and a further ruyi-head band around the rim. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande mark.
