A FINE PAIR OF SMALL DOUCAI DISHES
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
Each dish with shallow rounded sides is decorated in the center with a stylized hibiscus borne on a leafy stem surrounded by further scrolling leaves and tendrils, the design repeated as a frieze on the exterior above a narrow band of ruyi heads.
