PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF LADY TAN YEH SHIEN (LOTS 64-65)Lady Tan Yeh Shien studied at Xiang Ya Professional Nursing School in Hunan, and later became the head nurse at Taiwan University Hospital’s department of ophthalmology. During the 1950s, Pu Ru was admitted into the hospital for his eye conditions, where Lady Tan assisted in his treatment and recovery. In order to show his appreciation, he dedicated and gifted to her these two works, which have since remained in the her family.
