A PAIR OF CELADON JADE PIGS
EASTERN HAN DYNASTY (AD 25-220)
Each stone is carved as a pig, with their features depicted in stylised form. Their backs, limbs, flat and snouts are rendered with strong slanting cuts. The surfaces of the jade are well polished.
