A WHITE JADE 'HEHE ERXIAN' GROUP AND A JADEITE 'BOY AND CAT' GROUP
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The white jade is carved as the twins, one holding a rounded box in front of him, the other a large coin behind his back. The white stone has a few snow flakes and russet inclusions. The jadeite is carved as a smiling boy petting a cat. The jadeite is of a pale green colour with apple-green sections.
The larger, 1 ¾. in. (4.5 cm.) wide.
